• Installation Instructions:
  - Place the contact mat on a flat, smooth surface and mount the cables to the wall or baseboard. Cover the contact mat with a carpet or entrance mat to protect it from daily wear and to avoid slip hazards.
  - Connect the contact mat to the ext. trig. outlet on the Visit telephone transmitter. Place the contact mat within reach from the transmitter and so that the cable can be fitted securely.
  - Step on the contact mat to test the installation. When the contact mat is pressed, it activates the transmitter that signals your Visit receiver. The receiver alerts you with sound, flashes or vibrations (depending on the receiver).
• Maximum ratings:
  - Contact rating: 10 VA
  - Switching voltage: 25 VDC
  - Switching current: 0.25 Amps DC resistive
  - Carry current: 0.25 Amps DC resistive
• Warnings:
  - The contact mat should not be used in or relied on in safety related applications.
  - The covering is important to both protect the contact mat from damage and also to ensure there are no trip or slip hazards.
  - Care should be taken not to stress the cable to pressure mat junction; this is especially important where long leads are fitted.
• Environmental requirements:
  - Temperature range: -10 to 70 °C, 14 to 158 °F
  - Environmental protection: Dust proof and sealed to IP64 (not waterproof)
