How to care for Amoena Aqua Wave Swim Prosthesis?
- For the care of your Amoena 149 Aqua Wave Swim Breast Form, we recommend daily washing by hand with the Amoena Soft Cleanser, a mild soap or liquid detergent. It should then be rinsed in clean water and dried with a soft towel.
- Please handle your Aqua Wave with care. Pointed or sharp items such as pins, animal claws, nail files, scissors, etc. can destroy them. Please do not press these with your fingers and/or nails, just as you would not do with your skin.
- Discoloration does not impair either the quality or function of the breast shaper.
- Some substances can damage the film coating of the breast shaper:
- Alcohols such as ethanol, propanol, or butanol when used at the same time as organic, low-molecular substances such as insect repellent (DEET) or sun cream
- Ethyl acetate and other esters
- Acetone
How to choose the right Amoena Swim Breast Form?
There are three easy steps to choosing the correct product:

Cup fullness:
First select the cup fullness required. Is remaining breast (1) shallow, (2) average or (3) full?

Shape:
Then select the shape (s) symmetrical, (a) asymmetrical or (e) extra. Generally a symmetrical shape is best following a standard mastectomy and an asymmetrical breast form is best if the user have had lymph nodes or tissue removed from under arm.
